My name is Val Hayes and my kennel name is Howenvals, My main breed is pugs which i have now owned for about 6 years. I am an 'ACCREDITED BREEDER' with the kennel club, which i joined when the scheme was in its infancy, as i was keen to be part of a scheme to ensure that breeding practices through out the country were improved and to eradicate 'puppy farming' and to encourage prospective puppy buyers to purchase their puppys from responsible breeders, who breed for the love of the breed and not for monetary gain. I currently show my pugs and do have the occasional litter, i am always striving to improve my line in type, confirmation and health, which so far is proving to be successful with my last litter producing very nice puppies one of which HowenvalsJustin Case has qualified for crufts 2012, Also my latest puppy Howenvals smart aleck has just won best puppy in breed at driffield champ show and has also qualified for crufts 2012.
