Starfael

Starfael Border Collies are located the Market Town of Otley, on the border of West and North Yorkshire.

Our interest in showing dogs started some 15 years ago after we took in a rescue Lurcher (Greyhound x GSD) and started entering
her into exemption shows and KC Obedience following a move north from Essex.

Our first venture into the area of Open and Championship shows was with a Belgian Shepherd Groenendael 'Flame'. We have competed with and bred this breed for 12 years.

Our first Border Collie 'Bilyara High Hopes' ( Caoihme) arrived in 2000 and had our first litter in October 2003. Our first male 'Glenshannon Red Red Wine' (Gil) arrived shortly after the birth of
our first litter and is our first ever Stud Dog.

Breeding only occasionally we aim to produce dogs
that are sound, have a good temparament with people and are perfectly at home Showing, Competing in Obedience, Working or simly as pets/companions. All our Dogs are Hip Scored
and Eye Tested.
