Zinfandel Great Danes

Indy is our foundation bitch, she has a wonderul temperament and is a very loving girl. In January 2006 she produced her first litter. She had 13 beautiful pups 8 bitches, 5 dogs. We had been to crufts in 2004 and spotted a lovely blue male of which we decided would be the one we would use if we ever decided to breed. This lovely boy turned out to be Leamap Moonstruck JW "Merlin" and I must say he did us proud. Merlin's owner Pam Price provided full support throughout and we are very grateful to her for giving us the chance to have what turned out a wonderful litter. Indy had her 2nd litter of 7 pups in July 2007, once again they turned out just as wonderful as the 1st litter.

We had decided when the pups were around 4 weeks that one little girl stood out form the rest and that this would be the one we would keep. Lily is a lovely girl with a wonderful temperament but can also be quite cheeky like her dam. We began showing Lily at 4 months and she is doing very well in the ring.

The handsome boy behind Lily is her brother Larry, we didn't intend on keeping him but due to unforseen circumstances he didn't go to his new home. He is a real live wire and due to his over exciteable behaviour he has never been in the ring, but he is a wonderful part of the family and we wouldn't be without him.
