My interest in pugs came about when, as a family, we decided we would like a dog after a gap of 16years. My daughter chose 3 different breeds and pugs were one of them. We spent many hours looking at different pages on the internet, and one evening she contacted Tarragem Pugs, and fell in love with the photographs on screen. My daughter struck-up an on-line friendship with Margaret and Barry Teague, and that has continued through to today. I cannot thank them enough for allowing us to have one of their puppies in 2003, and so the showing began. Tarragem Avenger was our first pug, and she set us off on the right foot, winning many awards during her showing career. Qualifying for Crufts 2005 was the highlight of her career, and both her son and daughter qualified for 2007. Pugsley gained his Junior Warrant in January 2007, and then his ShCM in November, so he is now qualified for Crufts for life. We are a small family show home and love our pugs greatly, and when we are allowed to share the sofa with them, enjoy many evenings watching TV together. | |
