We have owned Great Danes since 1981, and have shown all our dogs at Open and Championship Shows, regularly qualifying for Crufts. At present we have three great dane bitches, one fawn and two blues.

We were lucky enough to have had a beautiful blue Foaldown bitch (Foaldown Rain Music of Mydane) bred by Lesley Collett. Like all Lesley's danes, she had the most lovely temperament. She was a consistent winner at both open and championship shows, winning many Best Blue Bitch awards. She was awarded her first Reserve Bitch CC. by Mrs. Norma Willoughby at the East of England Championship Show in July 2007. This qualified her for Crufts for life, and for her Studbook number. We were absolutely thrilled with this achievement. Unfortunately we lost Sky last year, after a short illness.

Sky had a lovely litter of blue puppies in January 2007, sired by Blaufell Starlight Express. We kept a beautiful bitch, Mydane Mimosa (Mouse). Mouse begun her show career with a flourish! At her first Open Show when just 7 months old, she was awarded Best Great Dane Puppy. Then at Richmond Championship Show she won 1st in Minor Puppy, qualifying her for Crufts 2008. Since then she has continued to have a very successful show career, gaining her Kennel Club Studbook Number, and is therefore qualified for Crufts for life. She has her mother's super temperament, and is a marvellous ambassador for the breed. She adores everyone, and is great with other dogs.

All our danes are pets, and live as part of the family.

Mydane Mimosa (Mouse) delivered 9 gorgeous puppies on 25th July, 2009, 5 boys and 4 girls. Proud dad was Lesley Collett's handsome boy George (Foaldown American Xpress). All the puppies went to loving homes. We hope they will all have wonderful lives - we wish them well!

On 6th February, 2010, Mouse attended the Midland and West of England Great Dane Club Colour Format show (her first show since having her puppies), and had a very successful day. She won 1st in Limit Blue Bitch and Best Blue Bitch under Mrs. Norma Willoughby, and then went on to win Best Opposite Sex in Show (i.e. best bitch in the show) under Mr. Jim Peach. She thoroughly enjoyed her first show outing of the year, and renewing friendships with all her canine and human acquaintances!!

2010 was been a very successful show year for Mouse. She gained her Stud Book number, and was consistently well placed in Limit and Special Open Blue Bitch classes at Championship and Club shows.

On 19th April, 2011, Mouse welped her second litter, again having 5 dogs and 4 bitch puppies. We kept one of the girls (Mydane Medea, pet name Magic.)

In 2013 Zefather's Against All Odds of Mydane (bred by Jill Cranfield) joined our family. She is a much loved pet, and has had a very successful show career so far. She qualified for Crufts 2014, and also for the Finals of Dog World and Purina/Pro Plan Pup of the Year Competition 2013, which took place in February, 2014. She has qualified for Crufts 2015, and was a Premier League Finalist in 2014 (the 12 top winning bitches in minor puppy, puppy and junior classes in Championship Shows through the year). Tia has qualified for Crufts 2016, and also achieved her Show Certificate of Merit (ShCM).

We have listed only our danes most recent show results.
