MRS. K.A. EVANS
- Smooth Fox Terrier
- Hungarian Wirehaired Vizsla
My first Smooth Fox Terrier arrived in the late 1950's and with the beginning of Canterwey in the 1970's, my interest in the Breed is as strong as ever. Having produced and shown many Ch. Show winning Smooths (& various other breeds) my stock is breeding on for others to enjoy success in the ring. In 2005 came the Welsh Terrier....
I first awarded Challenge Certificates for Smooths in the early 1980's and also award Challenge Certificates to Wire Fox Terriers and judge various breeds and varieties.
My love of Leonbergers began in 1994 - pleasure here being companionship, working ability and occasional showing. My remaining four Leo's live in the home with Rhena, my Hungarian Wire Haired Vizsla, who replaced my much loved Gordon Setter bitch. Rhena is a joy to own and is obedient, has a good working instinct and loves people and other dogs and now she's proving an excellent brood, too.
Not a prolific breeder, my aim is always to produce sound, well reared puppies in the hope that they will have happy lives with their owners. I am still in touch with people who bought puppies from Canterwey back in the 1970's and who have returned for replacements. Therefore, if you can convince me you could offer a super home to one of my puppies - do contact me!
