We are a small kennel that strives to continue the traditional qualites of this extra-ordinary breed. We are situated in the small Village of Stocksbridge, nestled in the valley of STEEL, South Yorkshire.

We first became infactuated with this breed in the early nineties and haven't looked back since then. Kim was our first Border and showed such a determination to please us whatever we did whether it was in the show ring, hunting in the valley or fighting to be first by the fire, that we decided that we had to find another Border. It wasn't long before Bee, came along and was the matching bookend infront of the fire. In our opinion there isn't a breed in the Uk that can match the Border for its character, loyalty and love of life.

Within our breeding program, we set ourselves the task to breed our Borders to the correct standard. Our first aim is to produce the correct temperament. We then couple this with the type of Border that we believe will be able to do the job for which it was first introduced. In general the breed standard calls for an "Otter" type head a narrow front, a chest that can be spanned by and average man's hands and a coat that is course and weather proof.

All of our dogs are family pet's and socialise on a daily basis with our grandchildren. With our supervision of course!

We support our local Hunt and working terrier clubs and we are also members of The Kennel club recognised Breed Clubs. We are Committee members on the local Canine Society.
