KC Accredited Breeder Southern Bichon Frise Breeders Club Member
I have owned dogs for approximately 20 years. I brought home my first Bichon Frise in the summer of 1997 and have been hooked on them ever since. I first became interested in breeding in 1998. I bred my first litter a couple of years ago. I became a Kennel Club Accredited Breeder at the same time as I wanted to ensure that I did the 'right' things for my dogs and for any puppies they might have.
The well being of my dogs is my top priority. They are part of my family and are very much loved. I have two breeding bitches, they are only bred once in any year to ensure that they are in the best of health and that they are able to give the best start to their puppies.
Mother and puppies see the vet on the day of birth to ensure all are well. They see the vet again as a matter or routine for their first vaccination and a check-up prior to going to new homes at eight weeks. I also keep in regular contact with my vet for worming and flea treatments appropriate to the needs of each individual.
