Winner of NEFRA Cold Game Test Oct 2007 |
My small dual purpose kennel was founded in 1980 with my first bitch Maybrian Thalia she won AV working tests, picked up regularly and had Res CC's in the ring mated to CH Torwood Blue (owned by Mr Clive Harris) a dog that only narrowly missed becoming a Dual Champion we kept a bitch Falconcliffe Fanfaranade who gained her 'A' Shooting dog Certificate along with her brother Falcon Sceptre (owned by Mr & Mrs Melrose) who also gained his 'A' SDC, a FTA and had his fair share of wins in the ring. Fanfaranade was mated to Wemdon Wader who had a 'A' SDC and a FTA. From this mating we kept a dog Falconcillfe Hawk Eye who also gained his Shooting Dog Certificate and was getting placed in AV working tests, unfortunately he had a tragic accident and we lost him at the age of four. Farran was later mated to CH Heronsflight Pan's Promise and we kept a bitch Falconcliffe Filligree who also gained her 'A' SDC and Championship show class wins. Heronsflight Charm of Falconcliffe was a beautiful bitch winning classes at Crufts and numerous Open and Championship shows. We are very proud of her daughter Falconcliffe Dark Delight (Dark Delight Henry Boy of Torwood SDC'A' x Heronsflight Charm of Falconcliffe) belonging to Gillian Impy in the states who has her Junior Hunter, WCI and recently gained her Master Hunter and WCX. Several other dogs from my kennel have acquitted themselves well in the showring and in the field. Although the dogs can be seen covered in mud working or bathed and shining for the show ring they are first and foremost much loved family companions. We now have a few youngsters in the kennel and great hopes for their future. |
