This is Jade our foundation bitch who we originally got as a pet. Jade started her showing career in 2004 when she was almost four and has been successful at both open and championship level, qualifying for Crufts 2006. She has had many Best of Breed Awards and Reserve BOB's. Jade has also been shown sucessfully in Ireland.

Aside from the show ring Jade has also completed her Good Citizen Awards in Bronze, Silver and Gold. She has also taken part in a number of scurry competitions retrieving from both land and water.

Jade has had two litters and her children are proving to be successful in the ring having won a number of Best Puppy in Breed awards and Best of Breeds.

Jade has a wonderful temperament, excellent dark pigmentation and perfect 0:0 hips. By passing on these qualities she plays an important part of the Newforem lines.

This is Teal at her fourth outing and first ever championship show aged 6mths. At her third outing Nidderdale Show she was Best Puppy in Breed with her brother coming a close second.

Teal is the daughter of Jade and she has the same loving nature as her mum. She is very bright and loves to please. Like her mum she loves the showring and doesn't just wag her tail but her whole body.

Teal has completed her Bronze Good Citizen and we are working on Silver.

This is Abbie our yellow girl. Abbie was bred by good friend Maureen D'Arcy. She too has been successful in the ring winning a number of Best Puppy and also Group awards.

Abbie has a lot of energy and loves to be busy. She loves swimming and will retrieve from land and water. She has been out on a number of shoots which she really enjoys. Abbie has completed her Bronze and Silver Good Citizen Awards and is working towards Gold.

Newforem is a small kennels in the North West of England. Our dogs are first and foremost members of the family and I show as a hobby and because my dogs enjoy it. As a Professional Dog Trainer I also enjoy obedience, gundog work and teaching my dogs amusing tricks.

I have owned dogs for over twenty years and have had different breeds including Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Boxers and Chihuahuas.

Having also had horses for most of my life I am a real outdoor person and this is why Labradors are the breed for me. They can stand all weathers - the muddier the better for them - they love long walks in the country, are sensible enough to trust around horses and are just a fantastic breed to live with.
