Lottie is a delightful character. She's loving, very intelligent and full of mischief! Lottie is a lively, cheeky little soul who gives me a "run for my money" like her Great Grandmother Amy! Lottie loves showing and is a real little "show girl"!

Lottie has won well in the show ring with many super places (including Best In Show several times) at all levels. She won her stud book no. at 14 months of age and her JW shortly after.

Lottie has now given us two beautiful, correct & typy youngsters (Buttons & Minty) - we look forward to getting out and about with them in the Autumn.

Lottie holds a current clear KC/BVA Eye Certificate. Lottie has been OptiGen tested as genetically Normal/Clear, meaning she is statistically normal for prcd-PRA and will never develop this disease or pass it to offspring i.e. she is not a carrier of the disease. Lottie is also FN Tested normal. Lottie has been hip scored, 5 : 3

Introducing Buttons, one of two lovely pups kept by me from a litter out of Lottie (Powerscourt Power Of Love JW) and sired by Stan (Powerscourt Pingu). Buttons derived her name from the six black patches that run down her back!

Both Buttons & Minty have many of their parents qualities, including gentle kind temperaments & happy-go-lucky natures.

Buttons is very much an extrovert with her mother's outgoing love of life.

Both of Button's parents are prcd-PRA & FN Normal/Clear which automatically ensures that Buttons is genetically prcd-PRA & FN Normal/Clear. Button's will not carry the gene for prcd-PRA or FN and will therefore never develop either of these diseases or be capable of passing them on to her offspring.

He has a very sweet temperament and embodies all the best qualities of both his parents.

As a puppy Felix gained many Best Puppy In Breed awards and Best Puppy In Show places!! He's now making his mark as a Junior, In July 2003 at the tender age of 20 months he gained his 3rd, 4th & 5th C.C’s.

In February 2004, Felix gained another C.C & was able to claim his "Crown"!!

Felix also has 2 CACIB's & 1 RCACIB.

We are very proud of Felix’s achievements and our gratitude is extended to Karin Staaf who prepares and handles him to perfection.

We are pleased to say that Felix now has five offspring with titles which has shown that not only is he a good example of the breed, but he can sire good quality offspring.

'Powerscourt' is a small hobby kennel of parti-coloured Cocker Spaniels, based in the beautiful & historic town of Leominster in Herefordshire.

All of our dogs live in the house with us & are much loved companions first & show dogs second. Our dogs mean the world to us & we think they are very special. They enjoy some success in the show ring but more importantly for us, they are our best friends & their qualities are appreciated every day & not just on show days!

We only breed a small number of litters per year, and when we do, health and temperament are our top priorities. All our dogs are OptiGen tested for prcd-PRA & FN Normal (or from two Normal parents). This means that all our pups will be normal for PRA & FN.

Our dogs are also hip scored with low scores.

Our puppies are home reared & enjoy the company of the family (human & canine!) We believe that puppies reared in a home are better acclimatised to the home environment & therefore settle easily into their new homes.

Any puppies bred by us come from parents with current clear eye certificates, hip scored and Optigen Normal/Clear (A1) & FN Normal tested parents (where applicable).
