Today 28th July 2010 I lost my precious Nell she died in my arms whilst out walking following a tragic accident.
She was my best friend and I will miss her so much.

My beautiful Nell surrounded by 4 of her 1st litter who are now 4 years old.

Ilizulu Magical Moonlight was awarded her Junior Warrant after winning the post graduate bitch class at Leeds Champ Show 2007 and was awarded RBCC at LKA 2007.

Izzy went RBIS at Huddersfield Canine Show 2008 in January and RBIS Nantwich and District in March 2008.

At the age of 2 she has been awarded Show Certificate of Merit.

At Crufts 2008 Mwenga Mystical Moonlight at Ilizulu was 1st in her class and Ilizulu Precious Moonlight owned by Dennis Meikle and Lynn Reid was awarded VHC in her class.

Results just in Ilizulu Mr Moonlight hip score 0.0 wow 3 of 7 pups hip scored and what a result Mel and I are so pleased.
Obe and Nell have really done it.


After some sucess in the show ring with my lovely Nell (Mwenga Mystical Moonlight at Ilizulu) I decided to have a litter of puppies and the above are 4 of this 1st litter.

We share our home with 2 ridgebacks Jellicoe and Izzy. Jelly is a big cuddly gentlemen and charms all the ladies.

Izzy is the daughter of my precious Nell from her 1st litter .

Welcome to Claude our new addition to the Ilizulu affix I know he 's not a rr but he is the same colour and my grandchildren love him to bits. Claude is now nearly 18 months old and has had a super year starting with winning best puppy at the Basset Fauve championship at only 6 months old, winning best puppy in breed at Crufts and completing the hat trick at the Basset Fauve open show taking best puppy.
He has recently won Best Dog in breed at Leeds Champ show and his 1st RDCC at the Houndshow beaten on the day by his dad CH Shiroblam Beau Vester.
He is handled by our friend Danny Cullen and my daughter Lisa.

From the very 1st time I saw my 1st ridgeback I knew that I had to share my life with them and have done so since 1978 when Nelson became my best friend. Since then I have been extremely fortunate and have had the pleasure of always having a ridgeback at home. Jellicoe senior and Nelson and just recently my beautiful Nell are running free over rainbow bridge but we still share our lives with Jellicoe junior now 9 years young and Nells daughter Izzy.
