Madwags

This is Tia, our chocolate labrador, she was born on the 30th november 2003, making her 4 years old. She is the first lady of Madwags and is primarily a family companion. She was bought for my daughter. She is beautiful and her eyes just melt you! Her temperment and character are second to none..
Tia is great with children and is a favourite of all the neighbourhood kids and adults alike. Often I am asked by my daughter and her friends if Tia can play in the back yard with them. Of course Tia loves this. 'Grown ups' have been known to come and ask to take her for a walk!!! of course I let them, makes them feel important hahaha
Tia enjoys her walks, her favourite place is around the local reservoir or anywhere where there is water!
Tia is a joy to have and she love to cuddle. She is what my friends calls her 'A Pampered Dog' which I am afraid is true, but we wouldn't have her any other way :-)

This is Remi. She is proving to have lots of scope and has that 'little bit extra' which makes people take notice of her. ohhhhhh and she believe's she should be a lap dog hehehe. Remi is the brat of the family!!!!! She got the hang of showing now and does really well. She has had two 3rd place winning up to date ... and a First and Second place winning - way to go Remi!!

Remi too loves to go around the local reservoir for a run, swim, hop, jump and skip, like Tia she gets excited when we take the turning we need towards the res. Remi is loved by everyone and will do anything for a piece of homemade liver cake hehehe
Remi is such a happy dog and is wagging her tail almost all the time!!!

This is a picture where it shows Tia really taking Remi under her 'paw' and mothering her. What a BRILLANT mum she will be to any litter she has in the not to near future!!

Both my dogs are a pleasure to watch when together or alone.

Tia and Remi having fun in the garden. This is a rare picture of them both being still, usually they are flying about the garden playing together. Both girls get on really well together and miss each others company when not together.

It is a joy to watch both my dogs playing together and having a great time.

I have grown up with Labradors from being about 12 and always said that if i was to have a dog it would be a labrador. We got Tia in January 04 and she has been a valued member of our family, Tia is the family's dog but was bought for my daughter.
We then got Remi in August 2005, she was my birthday present to myself and I got her to show. We entred her first show in January 2006 (she was very much a brat!!) but we went to further shows, where Remi has won 1st, 2nd and 3rd places. :-) Remi loves being out there and mixing with other dogs, but now, Remi is a much loved family pet who like Tia loves cuddles, she has LOTS of showing potential but we are enjoying having her as our pet.



And now... I have been granted my Affix MADWAGS by the kennel club. Madwags suits our house down to a tee hehehe.
