Fonesse

Sh Ch. Fonesse Fiona was Cocker Spaniel Puppy of the Year. She was also Pedigree Petfooods Cocker of the year as well as Our Dogs.

Logan has had several puppy wins to his credit but it was magnificent when Logan won Best Puppy Dog at Coventry Ch Show and had to challenge his kennel mate Fonesse Finagael who hasalso had many exciting wins to her credit. The two distinguished judges Mme C Gravaleau of France and Liz Cartledge agreed that Logan become Best Puppy in Show.

Coco is an absolutely super example of this very rare colour. He has won exceedingly well in the show ring qualifying for Crufts and winning minor puppy dog first time out. He was also Best Puppy at Darlington Championship Show in September 2007.

Hazel is an absolute dream. nShe qualified for Crufts and was the first example of this lovely colour to be placed at Crufts.

She has many Best Puppy in Show wins to her credit and is hopefully going to be bred from next year.

Fonesse Cocker Spaniels have been exhibiting Cocker Spaniels for over thirty years. It is a small hobby kennel and has some notable wins to its credit.

Fonesse Cockers made up the first black and tan cocker spaniel since the war, Sh. Ch. Squiresrook Duet with Fonesse and that acheivement still stands today, in fact we are proud that we have also gained great success with her children and grandchildren of this lovely colour. Our gorgeous Sh. Ch Spinneyhill Stormy Weather over Fonesse obtained the CC at Crufts and is behind many of today's winning stock. His outstanding type comes through in his many particolour children, grandchildren and their grandchildren. It has been the home of the first orange and white Champion male Sh Ch. Pandorek Crispin the list could go on but space is short.

We are proud of the stock we have exhibited. In future all Fonesse puppies will be sold as pets only and their registrations will be endorsed. Due to the fact that a couple of people we have let beautiful cockers go to with explicit conditions have ignored these and wefeel now we cannot entrust any of my babies to anyone other than a pet owner.
