Thank you for taking the time to look at my website. I would like to tell you a bit about myself and my dogs. I have always been a great lover of animals and was lucky enough to be bought my first dog a corgi, as a child. We spent hours together and were great friends going on lots of country walks. I was saddened by her death and always vowed to have more dogs and breed when the occasion was right. I purchased my first chocolate labrador in 1984, a lovely bitch and just longed to breed off her, but bringing up a young family didn't give me the time that I would have needed, so my dream still alluded me. So at the age of 40 I was in a position to start my ambition and purchased my present 2 chocolate labs, called Teal and Willow. Willow was always the better dog of the two, I always socialise my pups to the best of my ability, by inviting friends and family along to play, groom, and interact with their toys. We always have a couple of trips out in the car, either on a voluntary knee! or in the dog cage, so that it's not such a daunting trauma to the pup on it's journey to a new home. We send them away with a little blanket which Mum has slept on, so at least there is some familiarity for them. All the pups are registered at the Kennel Club, vet checked, wormed, and come with 6 weeks free puppy insurance.
We are a family that love the outdoors, and the dogs are always with us, exploring new walks and finding rivers and lakes to swim in.
I don't show my dogs, but thoroughly enjoy my day out at Crufts, where I meet the owner of the stud dogs that I have used. I pick up lots of useful information and hope to be able to pass it on to my new owners, so they too can have a Happy, Healthy life !!
