We have had rottweilers for over 20 years now and bred our first litter in 1997 after which we decided to show. Since then we have had considerable success at open shows with best of breeds, best in shows and best puppy in shows. At championship shows we have enjoyed top places best puppy in breeds, best puppy in show and res bitch cc at crufts 2003. We have recently introduced German, Australian, New Zealand and American champion imported bloodlines into our breeding programme with tremendous success. We are looking forward
to campaigning Westlodge babies in the future.
As well as having over 20 years experience in this breed we both have certificates for passing the following exams.
(1) Requirements of a dog show judge, tested and passed by. Arther Rowe (Kennel Club Accredited Trainer).
(2)Conformation and Movement, tested and passed by. Eleanor Bothwell (Kennel Club Accredited Trainer).
(3) Breed Specific Seminar, tested and passed by the following assessors. Mrs Liz Dunhill, Mr Brian Hindley and Mrs Kath Hindley.
(4) Kennel Club Hands on Assessment, tested and passed by. Mr Frank Kane (Kennel Club Accredited Trainer). Both gaining full marks 50 out of 50.
