First Rough Collie puppy in 1977, adding my prefix ' Lyndi' in 1979. She was shown and I was 'hooked' with showing. In the early 80's a Shetland Sheepdog puppy was added to my kennel. Both breeds and their subsequent puppies achieved some success in the show ring. I bred several litters of both breeds over the years. Having a Rough Collie bitch mated to a dog in Norfolk in 1989, I saw a Japanese Spitz in the yard. A bitch arrived home on breeding terms. I then proceeded to look around this breed for a show quality puppy which I eventually bought. Some success was achieved over the years with several Japanese Spitz. Fast forward to 2000 ....... A bitch, Mulan - Kulani Kessho Tenshi for Lyndi arrived from the UK. She was shown with great success in the UK, Ireland and on the Continent. She gained Irish / GB / Spain / Gibraltar / Portugal / Internatiuonal Championship titles, (also Annual Champion 2002 in Ireland) which no other Japanese Spitz has ever won before or since. She remains the top winning Japanese Spitz. Two daughters of Mulan, one of whom was Best Bitch Crufts 2006 and the other was Best Bitch at The Japanese Spitz Club of Ireland Ch Sh 2006. Her male kennel mate, Kulani Kessho Nozomi For Lyndi was also a Gibraltar Ch. Another kennel-mate, a bitch, Devaldemar Imagination For Lyndi has gained her Irish and International titles. I have judged Rough Collies at Championship level and Japanese Spitz at several Open shows in Ireland. I try to produce puppies of both breeds with good temperaments / looks as I feel this a basic role of the breeder. |
