We have owned Golden Retrievers since 1981, our first two dogs were Channri Cerrigold and Channri Caleb.
The very special foundation bitch of the Jaskar kennel was Westley Rachel of Jaskar (22.2.86 -28.4.00). She was mated to Sh Ch Stirchley Saxon and produced Jaskar Jordan a super dog who did a great deal of winning, including 2CCs and 3RCCs
Our second Westley bitch Westley Jacinda of Jaskar and she was mated to Sh.Ch. Elswood the Highlander from which we have Jaskar Christmas Joy(Flo|) She was mated to Sh Ch Deloro Gucci with Canina from this litter we have Jaskar Vanessa and Victoria. Victoria has now produced a litters to Squirrelsmead Digby of Canina and Soneve Dougal
Both Vanessa and Victoria are shown and have had some success. Vanessa has her Stud book number
Our other Gundog breed is Flatcoated Retrievers. Jaskar Sound of Isla was the dam of Jaskar Sound of Taransay Scott(sire Ch Gayplume Dream Maker) .
Jaskar Reflection of Willow(Meg) is an absolute delight to live with, an extremely faithful member of our dog family.
We have Branchalwood Beauly Water of Jaskar pet name Iona) a lovely Flatcoat full of fun who enjoys showing and working activities.Achieving The Kennel Club Working Gundog Certificate(On Game)
Our third breed a Wirehaired Dachshund Sophie, who is an absolute delight and a real character. She came as a "pet" was shown with great success, eventually becoming a Champion.
Sophie has a Dachs friend Soneve Penny, full of fun.
Most of our dogs are now at the "retirement stage" from showing, with the exception of Iona FCR and Vanessa shown occaisionally in Veteran.
